Social Infrastructure Systems Business Sector This refers to our business segments relating to construction of social infrastructure systems. Our business offering includes (1) various solutions services relating to the power quality improvement and the energy saving and (2) manufacturing and sales of various electric appliances or systems relating to power generation, power transmission and distribution for power utilities, government and other public offices, railways, public roads, and private facilities. In the segment of water supply and sewage treatment for local governments in Japan, we are engaged in the manufacturing and sales of various water treatment system, process control systems, and related IT network system enhancement. We are also doing the solutions services relating to the environmental engineering such as contracting for the maintenance management of water treatment plants, etc. Industrial Systems Business Sector This refers to our business segments relating to our products or systems used in the manufacturing or IT industry. For private industry segment, we provide substations, automotive testing systems, logistics support systems. We are also engaged in the manufacturing and sales of motor drive application products such as motors and inverters for textile machinery and elevator. In the information and communication segment, we manufacture and sell component products such as industrial computers, network systems. We are providing IT solutions to the private companies and local government so that each customer could promote the high level work and office productivity using the IT technologies. Industrial Systems Business Sector This refers to our business segments relating mostly to the maintenance services, which includes our solutions business for facility life extension and energy saving. We also provides the services relating to the remote monitoring of the facility. We are also engaged in the services for semiconductor Industry which includes maintenance service and refurbishment service for its manufacturing system. Real Estate Business Sector This refers to our business segment relating our activities in the tenancy service of Meiden-owned real estate properties, including office spaces in the ThinkPark Tower Building at Osaki, Tokyo, Japan.
