The company CASAR Drahtseilwerk Saar was founded in 1948 by consul Joseph Verreet . CASAR is an abbreviation for the French term ′Cablerie Sarroise′. Since the first years CASAR stands for innovative product developments. CASAR produced the first 8-strand ropes already in 1949 - in a time, where six-strand-ropes have been usual. During the decades other developments have been realized. CASAR became one of the leading manufacturer of Special Wire Ropes. Nowadays these wire ropes are distributed from Kirkel, Germany all over the world. CASAR develops, produces and distributes Special Wire Ropes for cranes and other lifting devices. CASAR employs qualified staff members, which determine the success of the company. The production capacity of 9.500ts is increased continuously in order to fulfil the market requirements. CASAR offers a special service to its clients. CASAR does not only offer wire ropes, but also solutions for the various lifting requirements of the market. The ′Space Mountain′ at EuroDisney for example works with a special designed wire rope from CASAR. CASAR stands for highest technical demand.
